From its beginnings over 40 years ago, ACI Farfisa quickly established itself as a market leader in intercom systems, supplying over 60 countries worldwide from its leading edge design and manufacturing base in Ancona, Italy.
Intek is now able to release a range of simple intercom kit solutions, specifically configured for the needs of the New Zealand market. The kits are composed of components dedicated to a combination of the 3 key choices:
1. Internal handset and monitor styles - Echos and Exhito
2. External station styles - Matrix and Profilo
3. Alternative wiring system platforms - DUO, 4 + 1 and 1 + 1
The wiring system type dictates the correct model of the internal and external station and all associated components. Intek have configured these components into bundled, up-gradeable, starter kit packages. Additional internal and external stations are also available in kit or component form.

1. Internal Handsets & Monitors
For internal stations there is a choice of product lines from the exciting and innovative Echos and Exhito ranges. Both offer a stylish solution with many features and high performance. Echos offers the most sought after functionality, including hands free operation. Exhito provides a traditional intercom apparatus that has both style and multi-button performance.

2. External Stations
The Matrix and Profilo ranges provide stunning aesthetics with specific levels of durability depending upon location requirements. Compositions with key pad or button modules are possible. Matrix is solidly constructed of stainless steel to provide superior vandal and corrosion resistance in waterfront applications, including an IP45 rating. The Profilo range is manufactured from aluminium, with stainless steel buttons, and is the ideal solution where limited space is available.

3. Wiring Systems
A choice of 3 wiring systems are available:
Duo System (Video and Audio)
Leading 2-wire only digital that carries all signals and power on one pair. Video/Audio and audio only for up to 200 apartments with 4 main and 4 secondary entrances. Allows internal station inter-communication with door lock service and function commands, all over 2 wires. Supports both Echos and Exhito internal stations and Matrix and Profilo entrance stations.
4 + 1 Wiring (Video and Audio)
Analogue technology that uses 4 common wires + 1 wire for each apartment. Video/Audio system for up to 10 apartments with 2 entrances. No internal station inter-communication. Supports Echos and Exhito internal stations with Profilo entrance stations only.
1 + 1 Wiring (Audio only)
Analogue audio only technology that uses 1 common + 1 wire for each apartment/internal station. Audio only for up to 10 apartments with 2 entrances. No internal station inter-communication. Exhito and Profilo only.
